coach conductor responded quickly, providing alternative seating for affected passengers. The incident was reported to the divisional railway headquarters. This is not the first instance of stone-throwing at the Vande Bharat Express. Similar incidents have occurred during trial runs near Gaya, and previously against the Bhubaneswar-Tatanagar Vande Bharat, Rourkela-Puri Vande Bharat, and Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat. Despite these incidents, no arrests have been confirmed. There have also been incidents targeting the Janshatabdi Express on the Howrah-Mumbai route near several stations in Kolhan.

Incident ki jaankaari divisional railway headquarters ko di gayi. Yeh Vande Bharat Express pe patthar marne ka pehla incident nahi hai. Aisa Gaya ke paas trial run ke duran bhi hua tha, aur pehle Bhubaneswar-Tatanagar Vande Bharat, Rourkela-Puri Vande Bharat aur Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat pe bhi hua tha. 75% of their agricultural land lies south of the railway track and the fencing would affect their farming and the movement of people from dozens of villages. They also submitted a memorandum to Union Minister and MP Annpurna Devi requesting an underpass.
