The process of doubling the Tata-Badampahar railway line, which serves President Droupadi Murmu's village, Rairangpur, has commenced. This line will be doubled from Tatanagar to Badampahar. The South Eastern Zone had included this doubling project in their three-year work plan and conducted surveys. President Murmu, while serving as the...

Governor of Jharkhand, had requested the doubling of this line. The Member of Parliament from Jamshedpur, Vijayvaran Mahato, has been advocating for the doubling of this line since 2017. Since the establishment of Tata Steel, goods trains have been transporting minerals on the single line to Badampahar. There are now four express trains running from Badampahar, including the Badampahar-Santragachi-Badampahar weekly express, Badampahar-Rourkela-Badampahar weekly express, Badampahar-Tatanagar express, and Tata-Badampahar MEMU. The Badampahar and Rairang railway stations are being upgraded under the Amrit Bharat scheme. The stations are undergoing improvements including a footbridge, sheds, toilets, and drinking water facilities. Additionally, the color of bedrolls provided in air-conditioned coaches will be changed from white to colored. This change was initiated on the New Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani train by the Northern Railway and follows a request by former Rajya Sabha MP Samir Oraon. The Badampahar in Odisha is significant for the Chakradharpur Railway Division in terms of revenue generation. A plan is underway to connect Aunlajori, Gorumahisani, and Badampahar to Banspani, Juruli, Nayagarh, and other sections, making it easier to transport goods to the Paradeep port. The Prime Minister recently approved new lines for Badampahar-Kendujhargarh (82 km) and Gorumahisani-Bangriposi (85 km). The increasing train traffic on the Howrah-Mumbai-Mumbai and Odisha routes will see a reduction in travel time for trains going to Puri and Bhubaneswar with the construction of the Tatanagar-Badampahar-Gorumahisani-Kendujhargarh and Bangriposi lines.

President Droupadi Murmu ke gaon Rairangpur jaane waale Tata-Badampahar railway line ka double karne ka kaam shuru ho gaya hai. Tatanagar se Badampahar tak line ko double karne ka kaam jaldi shuru hoga. Railway Board ne Tatanagar se Badampahar line ke double karne ka proposal approve kiya hai. South Eastern Zone...

ne yeh project apne three-year work plan mein shamil kiya tha aur surveys bhi kiye the. President Murmu, jab Jharkhand mein Governor thi, tab unhone bhi yeh line double karne ka proposal diya tha. Jamshedpur ke MP Vijayvaran Mahato 2017 se yeh issue Lok Sabha mein uthate aa rahe hain. Tata Steel ki establishment se hi Badampahar ki single line mein goods trains dwara minerals ki dhulai ho rahi hai. Ab Badampahar se four express trains chal rahi hain, jismein Badampahar-Santragachi-Badampahar weekly express, Badampahar-Rourkela-Badampahar weekly express, Badampahar-Tatanagar express, aur Tata-Badampahar MEMU shamil hai. Badampahar aur Rairang railway stations ko Amrit Bharat scheme ke under upgrade kiya ja raha hai. Stations pe footbridge, sheds, toilets, aur drinking water jaisi facilities banaai ja rahi hain. Iske alawa, air-conditioned coaches mein diye jaane waale bedrolls ka color white se colored mein badal diya jaayega. Yeh change Northern Railway ne New Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani train mein shuru kiya hai aur yeh former Rajya Sabha MP Samir Oraon ke request ke baad kiya gaya hai. Odisha mein Badampahar Chakradharpur Railway Division ke liye revenue generation ke perspective se bahut important hai. Aunlajori, Gorumahisani, aur Badampahar ko Banspani, Juruli, Nayagarh aur other sections se connect karne ki planning chal rahi hai. Isse Paradeep port tak goods trains ko aasani hogi. Prime Minister ne Badampahar-Kendujhargarh (82 km) aur Gorumahisani-Bangriposi (85 km) ke liye new lines ko approve kiya hai. Howrah-Mumbai-Mumbai aur Odisha routes pe trains ka traffic bahut badh raha hai. Tatanagar-Badampahar-Gorumahisani-Kendujhargarh aur Bangriposi lines banne se Puri aur Bhubaneswar jaane waali trains ka travel time kam hoga.
