664 करोड़ रुपये खर्च होने के बाद भी इस रूट पर मेमू ट्रेन नहीं चलाई जा रही है। ऐसे में लोग 90 किलोमीटर की दूरी ज्यादा तय करने को मजबूर हैं। बरकाकाना रूट से छह घंटे 22 मिनट का सफर करके रांची से गढ़वा रोड (335 किलोमीटर) जाना पड़ रहा है। वहीं, यात्रियों को अधिक किराया भी देना पड़ रहा है। टोरी होते हुए गढ़वा रोड रूट में सिर्फ तीन ट्रेनों का संचालन हो रहा है: रांची-चोपन एक्सप्रेस (सप्ताह में तीन दिन), सासाराम एक्सप्रेस (सप्ताह में छह दिन) और रांची-नई दिल्ली राजधानी ट्रेन (सप्ताह में दो दिन)। अधर, यात्री संघ और स्थानीय सांसद भी लगातार इस रूट में ट्रेनों की संख्या बढ़ाने की मांग कर रहे हैं।

बहुत ही उचित मांग है. पलामू प्रमंडल की जनता के लिये यह बहुत ही लाभदायक होगा. सभी जनप्रतिनिधियों से अनुरोध है की इस मांग को जल्द से जल्द पूरा कराने का प्रयास किया जाए. इसके साथ साथ रांची लोहरदगा टोरी रेल लाइन का दोहरीकरण भी जल्द से जल्द किया जाए.

रांची-लोहरदगा-टोरी लाइन का 113 किलोमीटर का विस्तार 9.50 करोड़ रुपये से होगा। इसके साथ ही, मुरी-बड़कखना 58 किलोमीटर रेल लाइन का दोहरीकरण किया जाएगा और राजखरसवा-सिन्नी तीसरी लाइन का विस्तार भी होगा। यह बजट रोजगार, मध्यम वर्ग, एमएसएमई और कौशल प्रशिक्षण पर केंद्रित है, और इसमें गरीब, महिला, युवा और किसान को सशक्त बनाने पर भी ध्यान दिया गया है।

Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori line ka 113 kilometer ka extension 9.50 crore rupees se hoga. Iske saath hi, Muri-Badkakhna 58 kilometer rail line ko double kiya jaayega aur Rajkharsawa-Sini third line ka extension bhi hoga. Yeh budget employment, middle class, MSMEs, and skill training per focus kar raha hai, aur isme garib, mahila, yuva, and kisaan ko empower karna bhi priority hai.
