If the traffic police grants a block, the construction of the 150-foot long RUB is expected to be completed in about three weeks. The RVNL is constructing this bridge differently from other RUBs, using a design similar to bridges built over rivers. This design, known as 'Open Web Girder' in railway terminology, is being implemented for the first time in Prayagraj city on the Sohbatiyabagh RUB, mirroring the bridge over the Ganga River connecting Daraganj and Jhunsi. Currently, doubling work is underway between Jhunsi and Prayagraj Junction. As part of this doubling project, the Rail Vikas Nigam is constructing a bridge over the Ganges river.
