West Bengal border se attached hone ki wajah se, in jungles mein, jungle elephants aate hain aur railway track ko bhi cross karte hain. Issi tarah, Chakulia station se panch kilometer west mein, Sunsunea saal jungles ke beech se, rail lines gujari hain. Railway track se attached jungle mein, jungle elephants aate hain. In areas mein, elephants ka aana-jana zyada hota hai. Kai mauko pe, elephants ke group ko, railway track cross karte hue dekha gaya hai. Kuchh mahine pehle, elephants ne Sunsunea jungle mein rail crossing ko bhi tod diya tha. 2018 mein August mein, Chakulia ke Kanmahuli Halt aur West Bengal ke Gidni station ke beech, raat mein, tezz speed ki Gyaneshwari Express ki chapet mein aakar, teen jungle elephants ki maut ho gayi thi. Gyaneshwari Express, durghatna se bach gayi thi. 2020 mein, Chakulia ke Sunsunea ke paas, koi train ki chapet mein aakar, ek elephant ki maut ho gayi thi. Elephants ki suraksha ke liye, railway track ke kinare baad lagane aur kai jagah pe underpass banane ke liye proposal bhej diya gaya hai. In areas mein, elephants ka aana-jana ki information pe, department, railway administration ko, trains ki speed kam karne ke liye, inform kar deta hai, Digvijay Singh, Prabhari Van Kshetra Padadhikari, Chakulia Van Kshetra.

While a water facility and toilet are available near the ticket counter, the platforms lack these essentials, forcing passengers to rush to the counter during train stops, sometimes even missing their trains. The Station Demand Committee Secretary, Rajendra Soren, emphasized the urgent need for drinking water on the platforms, especially during summer. Kanimahuli Station Demand Committee ne DRM ko letter likhke suvidhaon ke liye demand kiya hai, par koi action nahi liya gaya hai. Is halt pe almost sabhi passenger trains rukti hain. Jharkhand aur West Bengal ke yaatri yahan trains pe chadhte aur utarte hain. Halt ke west direction mein ticket counter ke paas boring hai. Ticket counter mein peeyajal ki suvidha hai, aur shauchalaya bhi hai. Par platformon pe koi bhi peeyajal aur shauchalaya ki vyavastha nahi hai. Train khari hone ke baad paani ke liye yaatriyon ko ticket counter ke paas bhaag ke jaana padta hai. Kahi baar to paani ke chakkar mein train bhi chhut jati hai. Aisa kai baar ho chuka hai. Passenger train mein travel karne wale yaatriyon ke liye ticket counter ke paas jaake paani lena possible nahi ho pata hai. Chhote-chhote passenger shed bane hue hain, jinmein garmi aur barsaat mein baithna mushkil ho jata hai. Station Demand Committee ke secretary Rajendra Soren ne kaha ki is halt ke platformon pe peeyajal aur shauchalaya ki suvidha nahi hai. Garmi ke maddenazar platform pe peeyajal ki vyavastha zaruri hai. Unhone kaha ki suvidhaon ke liye rail administration ko kai baar letter likha gaya hai, par koi action nahi liya gaya hai.
