It will leave Jogbani every Thursday at 9:00 AM. The special train consists of 21 coaches, including 16 sleeper coaches, 2 general second-class coaches, 1 AC second-cum-third class coach, and 2 SLR coaches. The train aims to provide relief to passengers traveling during the festive season and facing ticket scarcity on regular trains. The first trip of the train will commence on October 29th, 2023, from Anand Vihar, with return trips from Jogbani on October 31st, 2023.

The bypass at Saraigarh will be 5.5 km long and will eliminate the need for engine reversal, saving time for trains traveling between Saharsa and Nirmuli. Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, and Barauni. The announcement of these trains came during the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. The Amrit Bharat trains are equipped with push-pull technology, similar to the Vande Bharat trains, offering comfortable travel at speeds up to 130 km/h. The tracks have been upgraded to accommodate these high-speed trains. The existing two pairs of Amrit Bharat Express trains, one operating between Darbhanga and the other between Malda, will be joined by these new additions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three new trains on March 2nd during a visit to Bihar, along with a public address in Begusarai. The new trains will include a Danapur-Jogbani-Danapur Mail/Express train, which will pass through Muzaffarpur Junction. Modi will virtually flag off these trains, along with two others from the Samastipur Division.
