The train was maintained at Darbhanga Junction, raising questions about how the coupling could have failed after leaving Darbhanga and which officer deemed the coach fit for service. The coupling failure is the third incident involving the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express. Previous incidents include a smoke leak from a general bogie due to a fire extinguisher leak at Samastipur Junction, a locomotive failure at Karpoori Gram station, and a coupling failure on the Karpoori Gram-Khudiram Bose Pusa section. These incidents, along with previous coupling failures on the Swatantrata Senani and a wheel failure on the Pawan Express, all originating from the Samastipur railway division, have raised concerns about the maintenance standards at Darbhanga Junction.

yeh sawal uth raha hai ki Darbhanga se chalta huya coupling kaise break ho sakta hai aur kis officer ne coach ko fit thahraaya tha. Bihar Sampark Kranti Express mein yeh teesra incident hai. Pehle Samastipur Junction ke platform pe general bogie mein fire extinguisher leak hone se dhuwan bhara tha, phir Karpoori Gram station pe engine fail ho gaya tha, aur ab Karpoori Gram-Khudiram Bose Pusa section mein coupling break hone ki wajah se Darbhanga Junction ke maintenance pe sawal uth rahe hain. Pehle bhi Swatantrata Senani mein coupling break hone aur Kudhani mein Pawan Express ke wheel break hone ki incidents hui hain. Ye sabhi trains Samastipur rail mandal se chalti hain.

Sadharan Express faced overcrowding during boarding, leading to pushing and shoving. Some passengers were left without seats and claimed that people were already occupying seats at the yard, although RPF denies this. The lack of passenger trains to Samastipur from Muzaffarpur until 5 pm is adding to the overcrowding on these trains. Both trains stop at Dholi and Khudiram Bose Pusa stations on the Muzaffarpur-Samastipur line, making them popular for local daily commuters, vegetable and milk vendors, and college students returning from coaching classes.

Muzaffarpur-Howrah Jan Sadharan Express mein boarding ke time bheed kafi zyada thi, jiske wajah se log dhakka mukki kar rahe the. Kuchh passengers ko seat nahi mili, unhone yeh bhi kaha ki log yard mein hi seat pe kabja kar rahe the, halanki RPF ne yeh baat nafaraman ki. Muzaffarpur se Sham 5 baje tak Samastipur ke liye koi passenger train nahi hai, is wajah se yeh dono train bahut zyada crowded hai. Dono train Muzaffarpur-Samastipur line pe Dholi aur Khudiram Bose Pusa stations pe rukti hai, is wajah se local daily commuters, vegetable aur milk vendors, aur college students coaching se laut rahe hain.
