One special train, train number 04058/57, will run between Anand Vihar Terminal and Muzaffarpur via Lucknow on specific dates. However, train number 05047 (Banaras-Ghaziabad special train) and 05048 (Ghaziabad-Banaras special train) have been cancelled between October 8th and November 11th and October 9th and November 27th, respectively. Additionally, special trains will also operate from Chhapra to Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan, Vadodara, Udhana & Durg, from Lalkuan to Howrah & Rajkot, from Tanakpur to Daurai, from Mau to Vadodara & Delhi, from Banaras to Mumbai, from Barhani to Daurai, from Ballia to Delhi, and from Ghazipur City to Udhana. In total, 89 special trains will operate in 736 trips from North Eastern Railway stations, and 65 special trains will operate in 473 trips from various stations of the North Eastern Railway to major cities across the country. These special trains will make a total of 6,556 trips across the country during the two-month period. In comparison, special trains made 4,429 trips last year.

During September, the Northeast Railway conducted checks on various rail sections in the Lucknow division. This resulted in the detection of 24,783 cases of ticketless travel across 133 passenger trains. The Commercial Department collected a fine of ₹1,67,28,649 during this operation.
