The work was completed by 10 am on Sunday, with the first train arriving at 10:30 am. The next block for this work is scheduled for September 22nd, after the Ganpati festivities. The 5th and 6th lines are being built to create a separate national corridor for mail/express trains. Work on the 6th line has been completed from Bandra Terminus to Goregaon and now from Goregaon to Kandivli. The 9 km stretch from Bandra Terminus to Goregaon is complete, and the 4.5 km stretch from Goregaon to Kandivli is ready to be connected to the existing network.

Bandra Terminus se Goregaon tak ka 9 km stretch complete hai, aur Goregaon se Kandivli tak ka 4.5 km stretch existing network se connect karne ke liye ready hai.
