Ashok^~ 21615 blog postsFor passengers bound to Tumkur and surrounding areas, its better to get down at Gauribidanur as there is a direct bus from Gauribidanur to Tumkur at 5am via Koratagere (Total travel time is 2 hours). This is a private bus service (quite prompt in maintaining timings) and government bus service starts by 7am. Bus stand at Gauribidanur is in walkable distance from railway station (around 1.5 kms). Autos are available at station entrance.
Also buses bound to Tumkur, pass by LC gate located next to railway station where in they stop for passengers to board.
