Hi Mrs. Jayashree,
Hope you are doing well.
Local name is NOT different from regular name ?
Spellings...
more... are similar so they are NOT different ?
'Izat-nagar' is named after Alexander Izat, a Scottish engineer and director of the Bengal and North Western Railway.
However, 'Izat-nagar' got Indianize-d into 'Izzat-nagar' (in transmogrify way)
[Actually in Hindi, Izzat = इज्जत means respect]
Pronunciation is very much different between the two.
People except GenZ specifally locals and adjoining areas are very much familiar about the same.
Not sure, what 'Single - Z' and 'Double - ZZ' have to do in your context.
Thank you !
