The railway administration warned of strict action against anyone found indulging in unauthorized vending activities on trains or at stations. Passengers were advised to report such incidents to authorities for immediate action. On May 7th, four vendors were caught at Nagpur station. On May 8th, a fine of INR 20,000 was imposed on a vendor selling water bottles and mango juice on train number 11040. Nine vendors were caught at Nagpur station on May 10th, and 14 more were caught on trains between Nagpur and Ballarshah stations.

Other trains will be partially canceled. The Kolhapur-Satara DEMU (01542) departing on February 21st and 22nd will terminate at Karad, while the Satara-Kolhapur DEMU (01541) will start its journey from Karad on the same dates. The Pune-Kolhapur Express (11425) departing on February 21st and 22nd will terminate at Satara, and the Kolhapur-Pune Express (11426) will start its journey from Satara on these dates. The Gondia-Kolhapur Maharashtra Express (11040) departing from Gondia on February 21st will terminate at Pune, and the Kolhapur-Gondia Maharashtra Express (11039) departing from Kolhapur on February 22nd will start its journey from Pune. Additionally, several trains like the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Express (12630) departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin on February 21st, Bengaluru-Jodhpur Express (16505) departing from Bengaluru on February 21st, will be rerouted. The Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express (11030) departing from Kolhapur on February 17th and 18th will depart two hours late at 10:15 AM.
