the 8pm to 10 pm is highly crowded slot at NDLS and GZB.
Plus this train was conceived to take the rush off from from USK and Pooja Exp.
So there is no chance in change in its current schedule.
Extension till Katra will be an issue since RMJK-UHP-KATRA stretch cannot handle lot of trains due to obvious infrastructure deficiencies.

Sorry to put it that way but your first point is irrelevant here...
First, the train doesn't run between 8 & 10 pm . Secondly, there is difference between NDLS & ANVT.

someone in the thread posted about departure at 2050 hours, so i clarified about the congested time slot of 8 pm.

I am a regular visitor to the Jammu since 2006, USK witnesses bulk of the rush due to its timings and punctuality, then Pooja Exp takes major chunk of demand.

Sorry For Asking But please Give me The Original Link For This Train Extension.Beacuse few months Back in march....The Same Thing Happened...It was announced To Run as a special To UHP with the allotment of One halt,jagadhri But it was Taken Back. -_-

The continuous chugs ,engine honks,LHB coach jerks and invisible rails interchanges ...everything make up to the deadly combination...
Traveled 161 km()Between SRE and GZB) in 2hrs 10 Minutes....
This train is surely the best one on this route keeping in mind its cost and availability...(Average speed being second best after Dehradun shatabdi(12017))...
