Yesterday's train at VKB was hella delayed, man. It was held up for a total of 4 hours and 3 minutes. But according to NTES, even though there was no update at VSG, it should have reached there with a delay of 2 hours and 14 minutes. So it managed to recover 1 hour and 49 minutes of the delay on the way, you know what I'm saying? Now, the distance between VKB and VSG, according to IRI, is 797 kilometers. And the scheduled time for the train to cover that is 19 hours and 40 minutes on average, with a speed of only 41 kilometers per hour. But on today's run, it covered the same distance in 17 hours and 51 minutes, cruising at an average speed of 45 kilometers per hour. This is all happening on a route that's supposed to be not too shabby, man. More than 90% of it is FEDL, and I heard some part of it has a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Given all of that, this train should be doing at least 50 kilometers per hour on this route. But it seems like both SCR and SWR are more focused on moving freight around, man. It's a bummer that they're making the trains crawl at a snail's pace. The railways expect people to upgrade to higher class compartments like 3E/3A, but they ain't giving us jack in return, man. Their services are still terrible, the trains are slow as hell, and on top of that, they keep adding frequent delays, waitlisted passengers, and unreserved folks crowding up the reserved coaches, even the AC ones. That's why the toilets, basins, and the whole coach end up getting super dirty, bro. Now, the railways seriously need to step up their game if they wanna justify their so-called "rake standardization."

Today SECR did a great job handling this train. There was only a little delay of about 20 minutes at Gondia, but then it got delayed for an hour in that single line section from G to BPQ. After that, as usual, SCR started trolling. Even if SECR manages to escape without any delay, SCR makes sure it doesn't reach the destination on time. Now let's see if the extra time between VKB and GTL helps in recovering some delay. But it's nice to see the train running almost on time in SECR. It seems like things are finally starting to get better there.
