🔹 Train no. 16304/Vanchinad Express JCO 21/05/2023 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri, Kottayam, Piravom Road and Tripunittura. Additional stoppages will be provided at Harippad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha and Cherthala for the convenience of passengers.

How many persons know the mechanical maintenance of vanchinad done at TVC is done by pink gang ( a team of 16 females, this is the first and one and only female team in India who carry out the maintenance of a train.

why is 16304 vanchinad exp from tvc to ers always late. Last 2 weeks the train is average late by 1 hour.
Once Vanchinad was known as Executive, for it precise timings and few stops. On return from TVC 8:30 PM it used to pass Kottayam. On time most of the time. Now it runs as a passenger between ERS and KTYM, KYJ & KLM and KLM & TVC. Atleast if the ERS-QLN MEMU ( which does not run full) can be run inforont of Vanchinad till Kottayam so that at Kottayam passengers can catch Vanchinad the MEMU and Vanchinad will be benefitted. Also the KTYM-QLN passenger can be used to changer over to Vanchinad at KYJ. Thus reducing the running time of Vanchinad and it would help End to END passengers.
