Dont think bookings are opened. In any case i think it is primarily targeted at general passengers since there are only 5 sleeper reserved coaches (including 3 AC)

hoping your train is not diverted via bza -bpq , since you were travelling from mas-vskp

you just visit the parcel office at MAS two days before and ask them the details about when and how it can be booked for the particular train.

I think it has stoppage @ both MAS & VSKP for 20 mts..so booking of parcel should not be a problem...btw,you cant exactly opt to take ur bike by this train....by visiting parcel office you can register ur bike to be taken from MAS-VSKP..Then Rly will decide by which train to take & when to send....
You cannot do it on the same day owing to the traffic @ MAS Central Parcel office. Do it atleast a day or 2 before.

RFIR~ 6969 blog postsGood to see lots of specials being run between east/north east and kerala this year (dibrugarh-kochuveli, santragachi-kochuveli being the other 2 trains). Considering this train would be highly patronised by migrant workers hence the reason i believe for hving 11 general coaches and also a couple of 2S coaches. Now the only thing required is to highlight the same through their local languages to ensure maximum patronisation
