This is a pure LHB rake of SC-LTT duronto being run as SC-LTT AC special, earlier this special ran with more or less similar timings of SC-LTT Duronto but the timings now are crazy with a lot of slcak, Runs slower coz of irregular TT!!
Apart from the TT, the speed of the train would not be slow while moving but it would have longer stops to give way to every other regular train as they would have preference over specials..Also look at the average delay at PUNE, departs more or less around 02:30 on an average!
I know tat it runs very fast between the station but it should nt be so slow. Duranto takes 12 hr. This special train should hav taken 14 hrs tats agreeable. But it takes more time than a normal
Thats because Normal trains are given preference over special trains when it comes to crossings or overtakings..This is held to give way to Scheduled normal trains!!

All the regular daily trains on the PUNE-SUR route overtakes this train.. Since its special it is given least priority. 7 hours for PUNE-SUR is dead slow!!

OMG Namma KJM is Blasting at MPS after Lonavla whichn was crossed 10 mins back
I would say only one thing i would like is Cleanliness and Panctuality (with loads of Slack), One of the Pathetic trains in terms of Timings wich took 8 hrs from pune to SUR

Don't what was the reason behind slowing down this special like anything...It was going great guns with same TT as duronto earlier!!It has really become a super crawler for AC Express that too LHB rake being used..

Specials mostly don't have fixed links which ever is available they will be used...
That was updated by one of our admins long back in Jan,this special was running earlier also but different TT same as SC-LTT Duronto also it has RSA with SC-LTT Duronto..

They have literally screwed the AC Special timings earlier close to Duronto timings were great..As per this TT Hussain sagar will overtake it...

What is happening to SCR? So poor Time-Table. Old timings of this train is very very good which is same as Duranto. Instead of giving lots of haults, SCR shall give only three important haults Pune, Solapur and Wadi to this train.
its a new technique by IR and rm to clinch extra money in the name of AC exp. at a fare of rajdhani class by giving speed at a passenger train speed
