This train is given too much slack, especially between VRL and ADI. It takes a whopping 14 hours and 20 minutes between Veraval and Ahmedabad 😯
If one compares it with RSA 12945, which takes 9 hours on the same route, this is the slowest train between ADI and VRL.
Between Dhasa and Dhola, for a mere 26km, 19204 takes 2 hrs, between Botad and Ahmedabad, it takes 6 hr 25 minutes, again between Jetalsar and Dhola, it takes 4 hr 48 minutes i.e. double the time of 12945 and also more...

Veraval - Bandra weekly fast passenger 😂

The ex 22991/ 92 BDTS - VRL weekly cancelled in 2020 had better timings and run days.
It had a Sat 12.45 departure, VRL arrival at 04.35 on Sun and Sun 12.45 Departure VRL and 5.15 arrival at BDTS.
Current 19203 departs VRL at 17.15 on Fri arrives bdts at 15.50, departs BDTS at 19.25 arrives at VRL at 13.10. These timings are not proper for a traveller to Somnath

But a question arises as return slots from 6 to 11 in the morning look jam-packed at BDTS, DDR and MMCT so will WR give it an arrival of 0645?

BVC division of WR should seriously think of increasing the frequency of this train to daily from weekly with revised timings as follows:

19204/19203 proposed new timings with the objective of providing efficient overnight travel option between Somnath-Veraval-Junagadh-Jetpur-Kunkavav-Lathi-Dhasa section and Vadodara-Surat-Valsad-Mumbai section. Currently, there is total lack of daily overnight connection between Somnath-Junagadh-Jetpur-Kunkavav-Lathi and Anand-Vadodara-Surat-Mumbai.

Veraval Somnath Junagadh already have a dedicated daily overnight train connection to Ahmedabad, so WR should not deprioritise this train by making this train take 14 hours plus to reach Ahmedabad in morning from Veraval. Rather WR should think of providing timings such that people of Saurashtra reach Vadodara/Surat by early morning.
