Sadly yesterday this train witnessed a tragic incident..as yesterday this train was derailed near New Domohani atleast 12 boggies of it were derailed..As per report nine peoples are dead and nearly 40 have been hospitalised, about 10 of whom are in critical condition.

Some observations are not correct in the post you posted.
1. Loco was not intact....loco was also derailed from tracks
2. The SLR coach attached with the Loco was also derailed.
The exact reason will be out after investigation but definitely LOCO or OLD ICF Coaches according to me is the culprit, and i am saying this from yesterday only after accident had occurred....

Do you know how traction motor is fitted inside a bogie and on axle...trqction motor does not fall completely on the track...only the bracaket holding tge trqction motor nose broke and fall on the track, still the other end is attached to the axle...beind weight of approx 2 ton, it derails the bogie on which it is connected, causes sudden application of emergency brakes...as the logie bogie is already derailed, irregular forces can cause derailment.....watch video of news station with sudhansu mani sir.

Ha bhai pta hai ye train NFR ki hai. But hum log NW ki trains ko lekar discussion kiye ki idhr politics hoti hai lhb ko lekar aur deserving trains ko lhb nhi diya jaata. 🙄
Yes that's good. But still long distance trains are not preferred for lhb by railways...hope they get lesson after bkn exp derailment.
I think IR should definitely step up the process of LHBfication now. Also the process of LHBfication is IR is very unfair across the country I have seen that when a particular zone starts it only one particular station/division trains are given first only when it is nearing 💯 completion they go for second station/division like for eg. Mumbai and Pune in CR and SBC and UBL in SWR. Instead all the divisions or stations should be given equal preference.
Also it's sad to see some people still feel that ICF coaches are better than LHB.

This loco now transferred to GD. It was involved in BKN GHY derailment.
