Hyperadra 9 blog postsAdra division needs a new train from Adra to Puri and Bangalore. Train tickets are on the waiting list for almost two months.What is the Adra division doing after all this inconvenience to the passengers????

Adra is a useless division, don't expect new trains from Adra specially long distance trains.
The whole Adra Division has only 1 pitline at present at Adra and that also not for 24 coach train. LHB maintainance not possible at all. Whatever long distance train runs in Adra Division is ranned by other zones and all r passing trains except 1 train Purulia-Villupuram Exp runned by SR and that too was not in demand list of Adra Division or SER, Purulia-Villupuram Exp was given by Mamta Banerjee when she was Railway Minister based on local people demand which Adra Division never hear but Mamta Banerjee heard and Political necessity also.
