period 2024-25. A separate allocation of ₹172 crore has been made for a coaching terminal and a second gate at the Jammu Railway Station. The USBRL project is a prestigious railway project aimed at connecting Srinagar to the railway network. Currently, 80% of the work on the project has been completed. A section of the line between Banihal and Khari has already been trial-run, and the overhead line is expected to be completed by February 5th, after which the line will be operational up to Khari. The world's highest rail bridge, located at Anji in Reasi, is also part of the USBRL project. The project also includes several tunnels currently under construction in Reasi and Ramban. The line is expected to be inaugurated before the Lok Sabha elections, allowing for easier access to Srinagar from Jammu. Vande Bharat trains are being considered for operation on the line once it is fully operational.

USBRL project ek prestigious project hai jiska maqsad Srinagar ko railway network se jodna hai. Is project ka 80% kaam pura ho chuka hai. Banihal aur Khari ke beech ka section trial-run ho chuka hai, aur overhead line February 5th tak complete hone ki ummid hai. Uske baad Khari tak line operational ho jayegi. Reasi ke Anji pe world ka sabse uncha rail bridge, USBRL project ka ek hissa hai. Is project me kuchh tunnels bhi hain jo Reasi aur Ramban me ban rahe hain. Is line ko Lok Sabha elections se pehle inaugurate kiya jaa sakta hai, jisse Jammu se Srinagar tak jana aasan ho jayega. from Prayagraj Junction to Fafamau. This route currently sees five trains running between the two cities, with travel times ranging from 4.5 to 5.5 hours. The doubling is expected to accommodate the growing influx of pilgrims to Ayodhya Dham, especially after the 'Prana Pratiṣṭhā' ceremony. The project is part of the Indian Railways' larger plan to improve infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, including the development of 157 stations as 'Amrit Stations' and the implementation of the 'One Station, One Product' initiative in 142 stations. Additionally, the frequency of the weekly special train running between Subedarganj and Secunderabad has been extended until March 28th due to high demand.

Issi wajah se Rail Mantralay ne Prayagraj-Pratapgarh-Sultanpur-Ayodhya railmarg ka dohrikarann karne ka faisla liya hai. UP mein chal rahe railway ke kaam ke liye PM Modi ne apna khazana khol diya hai. 2024-25 ke liye UP mein chal rahe kaam ke liye 19525 crore rupees diye gaye hain. Subedarganj se Secunderabad ke liye chalne wali weekly special train ka bhi fera badha diya gaya hai. Ab ye train 28 March tak chalti rahegi.

Five stations in the Ayodhya region, namely Ayodhya Dham Junction, Ayodhya Cantt, Darshan Nagar, Ram Ghat, and Katra, will undergo a makeover. The Ayodhya Dham Junction will have direct rail connectivity to Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. Doubling of rail lines between Gorakhpur Junction and Ayodhya Dham, and from Mankapur to Ayodhya Dham, is also in the pipeline. The budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year allocated ₹2,52,000 crore to the Indian Railways. In the past decade, the Indian Railways has invested ₹98,015 crore in Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on constructing 1978 km of railway track annually. The electrification of all rail lines in the state is complete, and 157 stations have been chosen for development under the 'Amrit Bharat' scheme. Additionally, 40,000 coaches will be upgraded following the Vande Bharat model to enhance passenger comfort. The safety feature 'Kavach' system, launched in 2016, is being rapidly implemented. The construction of 1377 road overbridges/road underbridges has taken place in the last 10 years. 'One Station One Product' initiative has led to the establishment of stalls at 143 stations, promoting local products and boosting local incomes.

The remaining 151 kilometers between Fafamau and Ayodhya Dham will be doubled as part of this project.
