This has to be the most egregious example of VB till now, running through rural Jharkhand. It might help folks from BBS/Cuttack through TATA but is absolutely useless for passengers from stations like Chaibasa or Kendujhargarh. Like the latter station doesn't even see 10 trains daily, what it needs is more ICE/Mail trains, not VBs.

Got 2 hours and 11 mins late in reaching Tatanagar on date 19/09/2024. It took 3 hours to travel from Chaibasa to Tatanagar. This is exactly what I had predicted before. Maybe Railways knew about this from before. So, Railways has taken right decision by introducing 2 rakes for this train. Otherwise it's fate would be exactly like that of Howrah Barbil Janshatabdi Express.

I remember there used to be close monitoring of the VB trains in the initial days by the RB. Has it stopped? If no, how come they keep on introducing and running while elephants?

Tata Brahmapur VB is very slow in BBS BAM sector. Even normal trains like Konark exp, Visakha exp, Coromandel exp are faster than this VB . Joke in the name of VB 😂
