I guess the bulk of travellers in this route are migrant workers.....not too sure if they are aware of these things. They might still perceive AC as expensive .In Kerala i have noticed that almost all of them or at least a major chunk of them still have the paper tickets (do booking across the counter)

Strange indeed...for each run it stops at pgt for minimum of 5 mins but still can't make it a commercial halt.
