குறிப்பாக கோவையில் இருந்து காலை 6.15 மணிக்கு திருப்பூர், ஈரோடு, சேலம், ஜோலார்பேட்டை, காட்பாடி வழியாக சென்னை வரை செல்லும் இன்டர்சிட்டி எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் ரயில் எண் -12680(Intercity Express) பொதுமக்கள் அதிக அளவில் பயணம் செய்வார்கள். இந்த ரயில் ரயில் ஏப்ரல் 19, 20, 26, 27 ஆகிய 4 நாட்களுக்கு கோவையில் இருந்து வேலூர் காட்பாடி வரை மட்டுமே இயக்கப்படும் என தெற்கு ரயில்வே அறிவித்துள்ளது.
