wth!!REGRET generally gets back to AVBL status if there are enough cancellations. What stupid software IR uses. This is common sense!!
I agree with you.. I never understood the logic behind not returning the canceled seats back to the same quota. There are quite a lot of things that need to be corrected.
When a Confirmed Ticket booked against #lowerberthquota and/or #ladiesquota is cancelled, the same is kept withheld and is only released onto the sectorial quota during chart preparation.
1. From the availability status it seems booking as such is restricted against this sector.
2. It may so have happened that some special berths may have been released way before chart preparation. Now since booking as such is restricted here, booking still ceases to be unavailable and the berths may only be available for #currentbooking and/or may be passed on to the next remote station during chart preparation and/or may be up to the TTE to deal with the said berth/s.

Hi i am not able to book ticket in 24034 from JRC TO DLI ,as while searching the train 24034 is not coming in the list.please guide
try booking in 14034 instead of 24034...24034 is for slip route and bookings will not be allowed for main route...
But from AVL Info,I can check the AVL list of this train,so it must be there in the Database,not SUSPENDED by DATA BASE ADMINISTRATOR(as we see frequently for some other trains)..So booking must be allowed.

information provided about this train is not correct.
While coming from hoshiarpur,it first stop for 2 min at jalandhar cantt around 8 pm then proceeds towards jalandhar city and stops for 2 min at platform 1 and then train is parked on side line till the time parent train from jammu does not arrive jalandhar city. Then 2 coaches from hosihairpur are attached in front and train leaves at 1020pm and again halts at jalandhar cant for 2 mins and proceeds towards delhi.
24034/24033 does not halt for so long at jalandhar cant.

24033 and 54071 are same train.
Hence both should follow same time table. Please update all this.
One thing more even on 24034 time table on official site is wrong.
