Even when Barbil - Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express reached Howrah 8 Hours 10 Minutes late yesterday i.e., at 05:04 am today, even then Today Howrah - Barbil Jan Shatabdi Express is running only 1 hour late. So reaching late at Howrah (of course before say 5:40 am) does not mean that it cannot run timely from Howrah for its next run. Please note that being 1 hour late for this train means it is travelling very timely.
Clearly means they have done platform for this train with no maintenance
Yes, only engine reversal, crew change and refreshments loaded. Meanwhile passengers alighted and new passengers boarded the train and then it started from Howrah.
I am posting this question the second time. Is this the most late running Jan Shatabdi Express in India now?
We can raise the voice to SER and Rly board to get the attention towards the punctuality of this train.
Gondia Raigarh jan shatabdi used to continously run delayed by 4-5 hrs for around 1.5 years.

I had lodged complaint in Rail Madad for the late running of this train on date - 04/05/2024 as I had ticket for that date. They immediately closed the complaint with the following remarks - "Inconvenience is highly regretted. The train got delayed due to yard congestion at Howrah. However, all efforts are being made to run the train on time and reduce detention as much as possible. Indian Railway attempts to reach you safely and timely. Your precious time as well as feedback is valuable to us."
"Your precious time". I think they are trolling. Clearly, if previous time was valuable they had do something about the train.
Today on date 07/05/2024, again this train has not started from Howrah now till 10:33 am.

This was happening repeatedly and people lost their cool. They broke the window panes. RPF had to come to the spot. This has become a daily affair for 12021/22, arrive late, depart late. Can't they just cancel one run and make it on time? And make it run very close to the schedule (if not exactly on the schedule) everyday? Oh sorry, obviously freight is the lifeline of SER, passenger trains are not at all important.

Incompetence will lead to such issues.
Stations with well optimised Operations can handle large traffic efficiently.
Surat being the prime example handling passing as well as Originating Trains with limited platforms and incredible rush throughout.
Kalyan, Mathura, Ghaziabad all handle multiple profiles of trains ranging from Premium Vande Bharat to MEMU etc.

Correct. But why is SER targeting only train no. 12021/12022? Is it because it runs to West Singhbhum which is a backward area?

Not necessarily. May be in the railways in a very high post. Or not in the railways at all. Just an informed common man.
HWH, SHM, SRC and KGP division are not serious on arrival of any train. Any train running on time gets always delayed before coming to HWH. Delhi Division(NR) has improved a lot (even though loads of arrival) but don't understand about SER.
