Train No. 16541/16542 Yesvantpur – Pandharpur - Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be augmented temporarily with one AC-3 tier coach with effect from 26.05.2022 to 30.06.2022 from Yesvantpur and with effect from 27.05.2022 to 01.07.2022 from Pandharpur.

This will make it a very useful overnight from YPR to major parts of KA.

KA needs a night connectivity, & not a train starting at 18:00. There was a YPR-Miraj Bi weekly Spl long back which was bumper hit, even 1A was running full in that, used to depart at 20:40 then.
Also this Special has worst timings at UBL, DWR. The present YPR-Belagavi Special has better timings can be run till Miraj so as to cover Gokak, Ghatprabha, Kudachi like the erstwhile Miraj Special and needs to be daily.

To make this KSK useful for KA, this could be made to depart YPR at 19:30, behind the PVR Spl and GG.. The name "Karnataka Sampark Kranti" could be justified atleast, it can have good connectivity for KA regions

Extended till 25th Jan, from 2nd Nov.. for 13 more trips in each direction
Again extended till Oct 27.. Why doesn't SWR regularise this train, instead of running this as a SPL ??
Why not regulate it till Miraj, YPR-Miraj exp had good speed and timings to UBL, BGM. This one is too slow and departs too early from YPR.
This is given very less preference.. Once this was halted at Harihar, which is not scheduled halt, for 3 crossings, with RC, KSK and GG.
And the best part is, it still managed to reach UBL 15 mins before time

They should make this train to run as bi-weekly (Mon and Thu) as before with the same RSA pattern.
Instead SWR should run this train smartly every Friday night from Ypr and every Sunday from Pvr by making it regular weekend express
