Do you definitely and deliberately want to take this train? If so, yes, you can, but you probably will need to spend a sleepless night. If its not your passion to travel by this, I do not think it is worth it for a short journey like SBC-MYS, but again its my personal opinion.
I better suggest not to take it. It ll be full of beggars and drunkards.. No one will care for your concern. Also, its too slow for such a short journey

why..? this is a very famous passenger train btwn bangalore-mysore.. always a full crowded.. RAAT KI RANI.. :)
i travelled in it and it only crawled till mysore ... looks at its average speed - 35 km / hr ..... there was a fight for the seat in the train too
Try traveling in ANY train running through Kerala run by SR. You will definitely change your opinion about this :)

So when we book the ticket online, will it be of sleeper coach???
Earlier it used to be attached with engine at Bangalore end-but now it comes with Bangarpet pass so most likely it may be at the end now as Pramodhji rightly pointed out
