It is losing by 0.5 Km. Presently longest distance between two stations is (KNC) - Kanchanpur Road to (BARD) Dubri Kalan is 23 KM in Katni Singrauli section.

I visited Rankini Mandir, Jadugora today, and on the way, there's a level crossing near Tata-Hata road. As we were behind our schedule, I got the opportunity to capture this. Seen here is 08131 Tatanagar Badampahar MEMU Special proceeding on its way to its first stop Haludpukur. This rail line is more than a 100 years old. Soon we will see this track as FEDL line. Please watch this video!
