On Tuesday evening, a team including the Chief Commercial Manager, the IG of Railway Protection Force, and other senior officials conducted ticket checks on the Ganga Kaveri Express (12269) and the Mahanagari Express (22178). They removed unauthorized passengers, resulting in satisfaction among reserved ticket holders. Earlier in the afternoon, another team led by Assistant Commercial Managers Akilesh Kumar Nayak and Gracious Nazrat carried out similar checks on trains like 07420, 12322, 13201, 22177, 01471, and 02186 across the division, resulting in the collection of over INR 5.13 lakh in fines from 666 passengers. This initiative aims to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free journey for reserved ticket holders.

The derailment also affected the overhead equipment, necessitating repairs and causing further delays. The goods train was loaded with gravel and had been parked at Khandwa station the previous night without an engine. The absence of wheel chocks caused five wagons to roll onto the loop line, leading to the derailment. The collision with an overhead equipment pole caused power disruption in the affected section. While the main line was restored, repairs are ongoing on the loop line. The incident impacted several trains, including the 12149 Danapur-Pune Express, 22177 Mahanagari Express, 22538 Kushinagar Express, 10557 Pathankot Express, 12720 Hyderabad Jaipur Express, 09073 Bandra-Patna Express, and 12141 Lotiit-Patliputra Express, causing delays of over an hour.

Malgaadi mein ghitti thi aur yeh Khandwa station pe pehle raat ko khadi thi. Engine nahi tha aur wheel chocks bhi nahi the, isliye 5 wagon loop line pe chalne lage aur patri se utar gaye. The division has apprehended 1205 illegal vendors in the past 10 months through various campaigns conducted by the commercial department and RPF. Recently, a team apprehended four illegal vendors on platform 6 of Jabalpur station, selling items on the 22177 Mahanagari Superfast Express. The crackdown is happening across the division, including stations like Katni, Maihar, Satna, Damoh, Sagar, Kareli, Narsinghpur, Piparia, and others.

Is varsh, 1 April 2023 se 31 January 2024 tak, 10 mahino mein Jabalpur mandl ke vanijya vibhag ki team ne 1205 illegal vendors ko pakdkar RPF ke supurd kiya. Guruvaar ko Jabalpur station ke platform 6 par, 22177 Mahanagari Superfast Express train mein, DCM Nitesh Kumar Sone ke netritv mein SMC Sanju Jaiswal, CTI Sanjiv Mudaliyar aur Mukesh ki team ne chaar illegal vendors ko pakdkar RPF ke supurd kiya gaya hai. Is karrawai mein sahayak vanijya prabandhak Akhilesh Kumar Nayak, Gunnarr Singh, aur vanijya vibhag ke nirdeshak aur parvekshak ki bhumika thi. Yeh karrawai Jabalpur ke sath hi Katni, Maihar, Satna, Damoh, Sagar, Kareli, Narsinghpur, Piparia, aadi stationon par bhi ki jaa rahi hai.
