Despite the protest being peaceful, some trains were canceled and rerouted, causing inconvenience for commuters. The demonstration resulted in passengers being stranded at stations and being forced to seek alternative transport options. The police have been deployed at stations to maintain order. Notably, the protest has not been affected by the model code of conduct implementation, which usually restricts demonstrations during election season.

On January 21st, the minimum temperature in many parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh remained below 2-4 degrees Celsius. Hisar, Haryana reported a minimum temperature of 2.8 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast keh raha hai ki Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, aur Uttar Pradesh mein 26 January tak subah heavy to very dense fog rahega. National capital ke liye kaafi trains bhi late chal rahi thi. Northern Railway ne ek official statement jaari karke delays ka mention kiya, jisme 12801 Rewa-Anand Vihar Express ko 5.45 hours ki sabse lambi delay hui, uske baad 12716 Amritsar-Nanded Express ko 5.30 hours ki delay hui. Aaj subah 5:30 baje, alag alag jagah pe visibility yeh thi: Jammu Division mein 500 meter visibility thi, Punjab ke Patiala mein sirf 50 meter visibility thi, Delhi ke Palam aur Safdarjung mein 500 meter visibility thi, Uttar Pradesh ke Varanasi mein 25 meter visibility thi, Prayagraj mein 50 meter visibility thi, Bihar ke Gaya mein 25 meter visibility thi, aur Patna mein 200 meter visibility thi. 21 January ko, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, aur Madhya Pradesh ke kai parts mein minimum temperature 2-4 degrees Celsius se kam raha. Hisar, Haryana mein 2.8 degrees Celsius minimum temperature report kiya gaya tha.
