hum pre-COVID passenger trains ko apne state mein resume karne ke liye bahut struggle kar rahe hain. Hum pehle hi under served the. Dekargaon aur Dibrugarh, Dimapur aur Mariani via Jorhat ke beech chalta ek akele service, aur BG line pe chalne wali teen services ko bhi secretly cancel kar diya gaya, bina rail users ko koi notification diye. Sharma ne kaha ki 3 essential BG services ko bhi band kar diya gaya. Is tarah, almost double hone ke baad, hum NFR se request kar rahe hain ki ye short services start ki jaye: 1) Sorbhog/NBQ se Guwahati tak ek MEMU/ICF local up service, jo 8.00 am (Manas Rhino se pehle) tak Guwahati pahunch jaaye. Isse wayside ke log Rangiya pe Down 12423 RAJDHANI catch kar payenge aur students easily GHY ke classes attend kar payenge. 2) 55818 abhi resume nahi hui hai, isliye rake ko 55818 ke path pe return karva diya jaaye aur Fakiragram JN tak chala diya jaaye (200 km se kam ka section). Isse Kokrajhar connect ho jaayega. 3) Fakiragram se, rake ko 2.30 pm se Guwahati tak start kiya ja sakta hai, kyunki din mein koi bhi ordinary train nahi hai jo saare stations pe service de. 4) 5.30 pm ke baad, Guwahati se Guwahati-Rangiya-New Bongaigaon section mein koi bhi local passenger train nahi hai. Isliye, same rake ko 8.30 pm ke aaspas Guwahati se Sorbhog tak vapas chala diya jaaye, jisse SBE pe sub-urban terminal ka arrangement ho jaaye. Isse, saare suburban log, jo Guwahati ke alag alag sectors mein kaam karne jaate hain, safely apne ghar vapas laut sakenge, Guwahati pe costly arrangement se bachenge. Is arrangement se, Guwahati suburban areas ke needy youths ko bhi employment milega. Unhone kaha ki route electrification ho chuka hai, doubling bhi khatam hone wala hai. Unfortunately development ne Assam ke local logon ke liye better passenger transportation arrangement laana bhool gaya hai. Isliye, ab kuchh new intrastate services shuru honi chahiye. Iske aalawa, Kolkata, Puri, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, etc. ki taraf kuchh super fast services bhi shuru honi chahiye.
