The 03230 Patna-Puri weekly special will depart from Patna station every Thursday from December 14 to January 25, while the 03229 Puri-Patna weekly special will depart from Puri station every Friday from December 15 to January 26. Similarly, the 08439 Puri-Patna weekly special will depart from Puri station every Saturday from January 6 to April 27, and the 08440 Patna-Puri weekly special will depart from Patna station every Sunday from January 7 to April 28. Bookings for the 02023 Howrah-Patna weekly special are available through PRS and the internet. Due to non-interlocking work in the Samastipur division of East Central Railway, the route of the 13021/13022 Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Express has been changed. The NI work will start on December 8 and continue till December 15. The 13021 Howrah-Raxaul Express will run on the changed route of Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul from December 12 to 14. Similarly, the 13022 Raxaul-Howrah Express, which will depart from Raxaul station on December 12, will run on the changed route Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur instead of Raxaul-Sagauli-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur. The South Eastern Railway has decided to continue operating the 02832/02831 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar special train due to the extra rush of passengers.
