The additional coaches will be added to the Haridwar-Bikaner, New Jalpaiguri Express-Udaipur City, Bikaner-Haridwar Express, and the Barmer-Rishikesh Express. The additional coaches will remain in operation until August 31st, except for the Rishikesh-Shri Ganganagar Express, which will have an extra coach until September 1st.

situation is further exacerbated by the diversion of road traffic on these routes due to the Kanwar Yatra, leading to increased problems. This disruption on the Bareilly-Delhi and Dehradun-Lucknow routes will continue till the first week of August. The cancellation and diversion of a large number of trains has led to an increase in the demand for roadways buses. On Sunday, passengers had to pay between 17 and 32 rupees extra due to the diversion of vehicles on the Bareilly-Badaun-Mathura, Bareilly-Moradabad-Delhi, and Bareilly-Moradabad-Haridwar routes. Daily commuters on the Delhi and Lucknow routes are facing the most difficulties.

Other trains like the Garib Rath Express (12204), Ayodhya Express (14206), Shramjeevi Express (12392), Padmavat Express (14208), Malda Town Express (14004), Suheldev Express (22420), Lucknow Mail (12232), Amritsar-Howrah Express (13006), Kashi Vishwanath Express (15128), Himgiri Express (14524), Ganga-Satluj Express (13308), Kolkata Express (13152), and Janata Express (15120) also delayed passengers. Due to the disruption, many passengers spent the night at the station. Thirteen trains bound for Lucknow via Bareilly were diverted due to the derailment. The Chief Commercial Inspector, Rakesh Singh, confirmed that train services on the Delhi-Lucknow route have returned to normal.

The Lucknow-Kathgodam-Lucknow Express (15043/44) and the Gorakhpur-Amritsar-Gorakhpur Express (22423/24) will be canceled from Sunday until August 5th. The Karmabhoomi Express (12407/08) will be canceled until August 7th, and the Kamakhya-Vaishno Devi-Kamakhya Express (15655/56) until July 31st. The Saharsa-Amritsar-Saharsa Express (15531/32) will be rerouted until August 5th, and the Banmankhi-Anand Vihar-Banmankhi Express (14009/14010) until August 4th.
