While the train typically runs on time on the upward journey, the recent extension has led to frequent delays. The Farakka Express operates with two different train numbers in both the upward and downward directions. Train number 13413 travels from Sultanpur to Bathinda three days a week, while train number 13414 operates in the opposite direction for three days. Similarly, train number 13483 travels from Ayodhya to Bathinda four days a week, and train number 13484 operates in the opposite direction for four days. The transfer of the train to the Katihar Railway Division may lead to a change in the train numbers.
