South Central Railway has announced the diversion of two trains, the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Tatanagar Express (Train No. 12890) and the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Hatia Express (Train No. 12836) due to safety work at Tirupati station. These trains will be rerouted via Katpadi, Arakkonam, and Renigunta stations, bypassing Tirupati, and for the latter, Chittoor as well. Finally, Central Railway has notified of train regulation for two trains, the Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express (Train No. 12779) and the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Da Gama Express (Train No. 12780), due to yard remodeling work between April 10th and 16th. These trains will experience delays of 90 and 145 minutes respectively during their journey.

The 12871 Howrah Titlagarh Ispat Express was short-terminated at Chakradharpur and the 22862 Kantamanji Howrah Ispat Express was terminated at Jharsuguda. Furthermore, several trains were rescheduled, including the 12261 CSTM Howrah Duronto (3.45 minutes), 22511 LTT Kamakhya (six hours), 12836 SMBHT Hatia (three and a half hours), 13288 Rajendranagar Durg South Bihar Express (three hours), and 18478 Yog Nagari Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express (three hours and 15 minutes). The mega block also disrupted the schedules of trains passing through Chakradharpur.
