The 12871 Howrah Titlagarh Ispat Express was short-terminated at Chakradharpur and the 22862 Kantamanji Howrah Ispat Express was terminated at Jharsuguda. Furthermore, several trains were rescheduled, including the 12261 CSTM Howrah Duronto (3.45 minutes), 22511 LTT Kamakhya (six hours), 12836 SMBHT Hatia (three and a half hours), 13288 Rajendranagar Durg South Bihar Express (three hours), and 18478 Yog Nagari Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express (three hours and 15 minutes).
