such attack on a train in the area in recent times. Previously, on March 27th, the Champaran Satyagraha Express (train number 14010) was targeted near Semra station. In October 2023, the train number 15216 was attacked near Chailaha Halt, leading to injuries to several passengers. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) are conducting investigations to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

Railways News: 10 ट्रेनों में बढ़ाए जाएंगे अनारक्षित कोच, इन यात्रियों को मिलेगी सहूलियत

The Indian Railways has started adding extra unreserved coaches to trains passing through Bareilly. Ten trains will see two extra unreserved coaches added, while the number of AC coaches will be reduced. This change is aimed at improving the convenience for passengers traveling on unreserved tickets.

Bareilly se guzarne wali 10 trains mein, do extra unreserved coaches lagaye jaa rahe hain, aur iske saath hi AC coaches ki sankhya kam ki jaa rahi hai. Ye badlaav unreserved tickets pe travel karne wale passengers ke liye suvidha badhane ke liye kiya gaya hai.

The cancellations and route modifications are scheduled to take place between February 21st and 25th, 2024. Some trains have been canceled between February 19th and 27th, 2024, due to technical reasons and railway line works on the West-Central railway. Additionally, the construction of third-line connectivity at the Ghunghuti station in the Bilaspur division of the South-East Central Railway will start on February 20th and continue for 5 days, affecting the operation of trains. Kuch trains ko 19th February se 27th February, 2024 tak, technical reasons aur railway line ke kaam ki wajah se, cancel kar diya gaya hai. Iske alag, South-East Central Railway ke Bilaspur division ke Ghunghuti station pe, third-line connectivity ka kaam 20th February se shuru hoga aur 5 din tak chalega, jisse trains ka chalna affected hoga. Saptkranti, Mithila Express, Gorakhpur-Kolkata, Raxaul-Anand Vihar, Raxaul-LTT, Saharsa-Anand Vihar have been re-routed on various dates. Seven passenger trains and three intercity trains have been shortened at specific stations. The trains that have been diverted include 12211-12 Garibrath, 12557-58 Saptkranti, 13021-22 Mithila Express, 14016 Sadbhavana Express, 15558 Express, 15051 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Express, 15267-68 Raxaul-LTT Express, 15273-74 Sadbhavana, 15529 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Express, 15653-54 Amarnath Express, 15656 Katra-Kamkhya, 15705-06 Humsafar, 19037-38 Avadh and 19269 Porbandar-Muzaffarpur Express. The cancelled trains and their dates are: 05257-58 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj (February 21-24), 05259-60 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj (February 21-24), 05261-62 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul-Muzaffarpur (February 21-24), 05287-88 Raxaul-Muzaffarpur (February 22-25), 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jansadharan (February 21-24), 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Jansadharan (February 20-23), 15215-16 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj (February 21-25), 15557 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Express (February 22), 15558 Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Express (February 23). Separately, traffic was blocked on the Muzaffarpur-Hajipur and Muzaffarpur-Sugauli rail lines on Saturday due to various works, affecting the operation of several trains. The traffic block lasted for about three and a quarter hours on the down line for track repairs, sleeper replacement, etc., on the Turki-Kudhani section. A one-hour traffic block was imposed between Bapudham Motihari and Semra to demolish the old ROB. This affected several trains, including the Mithila and Avadh Express. Trains affected include: 05258 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur, 05261 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul, 05507 Raxaul-Mehsi, 19038 Barauni-Banda terminus Avadh Express. Except for 05261 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul passenger, all other trains were delayed by one hour each and reached Muzaffarpur Junction. 05261 Muzaffarpur Raxaul ran about one and a half hours late for Raxaul.

Alag se, Muzaffarpur-Hajipur aur Muzaffarpur-Sugauli railway lines pe Saturday ko alag-alag kaam ke wajah se traffic block tha. Isse kai trains ka operation affect hua. Turki-Kudhani section pe track repair, sleeper replacement, etc. ke liye down line pe traffic block dopahar mein karieb three and a quarter hours ke liye tha. Bapudham Motihari aur Semra ke beech purane ROB ko todne ke liye karieb one hour ka traffic block tha. Isse Mithila aur Avadh Express sahit kai trains affect hui. Affect hui trains mein ye hain: 05258 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur, 05261 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul, 05507 Raxaul-Mehsi, 19038 Barauni-Banda terminus Avadh Express. 05261 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul passenger ko chhodkar, sabhi other trains ek-ek ghante ki delay se chali aur Muzaffarpur Junction pe pahunchi. 05261 Muzaffarpur Raxaul karieb one and a half hours ki delay se Raxaul ke liye chali.
