Clone Express, and 04061 Barauni Delhi Summer Special Express, were diverted on Monday. These trains ran via Mankapur-Ayodhyadham-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki-Lucknow-Roza. Except for the 04060 Barauni-New Delhi Summer Special, all these trains will be running on the diverted route till July 4th. The railway department had already released a route chart regarding this.

Cantt-Barabanki-Lucknow-Roza. Additionally, the 04004/04003 New Delhi-Sitamarhi-New Delhi Special, departing from New Delhi and Sitamarhi on July 2, is canceled. The 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Humsafar Express will be run under controlled conditions. Several trains have revised routes, including the Vaishali Express (12553), Garibrath Express (12203), Bihar Sampark Kranti Clone Express (025669), Vaishali Clone Express (02563), Barouni Gwalior Express (11124), Barouni Delhi Express (04061), Saptkranti Express (12557), and Muzaffarpur-Dehradun Express (04313). The 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Express will be delayed by 165 minutes from Katihar on July 3. The 15653 Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express will be delayed by 165 minutes from Guwahati on July 3. The 15652 Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Lohit Express will be delayed by 75 minutes from Jammu Tawi on July 3. The 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Humsafar Express, departing from Katihar on June 29 and 30, will be run under controlled conditions with a 55-minute delay.

The Northeast Railway has announced temporary changes to train operations on the Gorakhpur Cantt-Bhatni railway section between Kusmhi, Sardarnagar, and Chauri Chaura stations due to the commissioning of automatic signaling. Clone, 02564 New Delhi-Barauni Clone, 15204 Lucknow-Barauni Express, Avadh Assam (from Dibrugarh and Lalgarh), 04137 Gwalior-Barauni Special, 04061 Barauni-Delhi Special, 04138 Barauni-Gwalior Special, 14673 Jaynagar-Amritsar Shaheed Express, 12203 Saharsa-Amritsar Garibrath Express, 12566 New Delhi-Darbhanga Bihar Sampark Kranti, 04028 Anand Vihar-Saharsa Special, 04062 Delhi-Barauni Special, and 09189 Mumbai Central-Katihar Special will be rerouted via Gorakhpur Cantt-Kaptanganj-Siwan. These changes are in place to facilitate the non-interlocking work required for the commissioning of automatic signaling on the mentioned section.

10-20 minutes late after the AC was fixed. One passenger, Aryav, tweeted about the AC failure in his Shram Shakti train (12452) from Kanpur Central, reporting that it had been malfunctioning for over an hour. Another passenger, Shubham Kumar, tweeted about the AC failure in the B-15 compartment of the Humsafar train (22460) from Anand Vihar Terminal to Madhupur. The train arrived at platform 6 at 5:30 pm and departed at 5:55 pm after engineers fixed the AC. The AC in the B-1 compartment of the North East Express (12505) from Anand Vihar to Kamakhya also failed near Aligarh. It was fixed at Kanpur Central after being reported on Twitter. Engineers also attended to AC failures on three other trains: the Barmer-Pune-Gorakhpur Summer Special, and two other unidentified trains. The Public Relations Officer of the Prayagraj Division, Amit Singh, stated that the AC issues were due to the heat and that they were being addressed upon receiving complaints. The Gorakhpur-Pune Special (01432) arrived at Kanpur Central station at 8:20 pm on Monday, delayed by 38 hours. The train set a new record for lateness. Other trains also experienced delays: the Gorakhpur-LTT Special (01124) was delayed by 18 hours, the Gaya-Anand Vihar Special (03635) by 10 hours, the Barauni-Delhi Station (04061) by 10 hours, and the Anand Vihar-Puri Express (18428) by 14.5 hours.
