at 9:35 AM. The train will return from Ernakulam at 9:50 AM and reach Kollam at 1:30 PM. The service will run until full-time rakes become available, after which a new MEMU service from Punalur to Ernakulam via Kottayam will be launched. Additionally, a special train from Tambaram to Kochuveli via Kollam will be reinstated soon, and special trains from North Indian states are planned for the upcoming Puja and Diwali holidays. A letter has also been sent to the Railway Minister requesting an additional special train to operate alongside the Velankanni Express during the Velankanni Church festival. Kodikkunnil Suresh has also formally requested the Railway Minister to include Sasthamkotta and Kottarakkara in Kollam under the Amrit Bharat Scheme for the 2024-2025 fiscal.

6:15 AM par chaliyega aur Ernakulam 9:35 AM par pahuchega. Train Ernakulam se 9:50 AM par vapas chalega aur Kollam 1:30 PM par pahuchega. Ye service tab tak chalegi jab tak full-time rakes available nahi ho jaate, uske baad ek naya MEMU service Punalur se Ernakulam, Kottayam via shuru ki jayegi. Iske alawa, Tambaram se Kochuveli, Kollam via ek special train bhi jaldi hi chalne lagegi, aur North Indian states se Puja aur Diwali ki chuttiyon ke liye special trains ki planning ho rahi hai. Railway Minister ko ek letter bhi bheja gaya hai, jismein Velankanni Church festival ke dauraan Velankanni Express ke saath ek aur special train chalane ka request kiya gaya hai. Kodikkunnil Suresh ne Railway Minister se formally request bhi kiya hai ki Kollam ke Sasthamkotta aur Kottarakkara ko 2024-2025 fiscal ke liye Amrit Bharat Scheme mein shamil kiya jaaye.

a.m. The return train, 06170, leaves Ernakulam at 9:50 a.m. and reaches Kollam at 1:30 p.m. The train will stop at various stations including Sasthamkotta, Karuanagapally, Kayamkulam Jn., Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ettumanur, Kuruppanthara, Vaikom Road, Piravom Road, Mulanthuruthy, and Thripunithura. While this new service is being implemented, challenges remain regarding the sustainability of the service due to delays in the expansion of the MEMU Shed in Kollam, the need for additional crew, and potential cascading delays if any train is delayed. The Thiruvananthapuram Division is working on resolving these challenges, and plans to rationalize train stoppages to improve efficiency.

Train no. 06169, Kollam se subah 6:15 a.m. pe chalegi aur Ernakulam 9:35 a.m. pe pahuchegi. Vaapas ki train, 06170, Ernakulam se 9:50 a.m. pe chalegi aur Kollam 1:30 pm pe pahuchegi. Train Sasthamkotta, Karuanagapally, Kayamkulam Jn., Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ettumanur, Kuruppanthara, Vaikom Road, Piravom Road, Mulanthuruthy, aur Thripunithura stations pe rukegi. Halanki, yeh new service shuru ho rahi hai, lekin iske sustainable hone ke baare mein kuchh challenges hain. Kollam mein MEMU Shed ke expansion mein delay, additional crew ki jarurat aur agar koi train delay hoti hai to usse hone wala cascading delays, yeh sabhi challenges hain. Thiruvananthapuram Division in challenges ko resolve karne pe kaam kar raha hai, aur train stoppages ko rationalize karne ke plans bhi banaye ja rahe hain, jisse efficiency badhegi.
