Additionally, several other trains will run on diverted routes via Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur, including the Howrah-Mumbai-Howrah Mail, Azad Hind Express, Bhubaneswar-LTT Express, LTT-Bhubaneswar Express, Nizamuddin-Raigarh Gondwana Express, and Raigarh-Nizamuddin Gondwana Express. The Gondia-Jharsuguda-Gondia MEMU will terminate and depart from Bilaspur during this period. The railway administration apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these changes and appreciates passengers' understanding.

no casualties were reported. The train's engine and 13 coaches moved forward, while 9 coaches remained behind. The train came to a halt approximately 70 meters ahead. Train operations on the affected section were halted. The train, numbered 20802, had departed Dumraon station at 11:00 AM and was carrying 22 coaches, including AC and sleeper coaches, as well as general and disability compartments. The incident occurred just 7 minutes after the train's departure from Dumraon station. The incident triggered a response from the railway authorities, with the Railway Protection Force deploying a team to the scene. The front section of the train was brought to Raghunathpur station, while the rear section remained on the track.

AM on July 30th, a loud crash and jolt occurred, causing the coach to overturn. Amidst the chaos, he managed to escape the coach and alerted the control room and the RPF. He witnessed people screaming and found several trapped in coach B4. Breaking a window, he rescued passengers from coach B4 and assisted a woman searching for her elderly mother who was trapped in coach B3. He also rescued an elderly woman trapped under a seat in coach B4. He recounted rescuing a total of 11-12 people, including Nimai Pramanik, Reena Pramanik, Madhav Mandal, Saraswati Mandal, Lakshmi Bansod, Asha Khanorkar, Raju Sekh, Badal Kumar Das, Sabita Das, Harun Rashid Sekh, Saheb Alam, Subhasish Mandal, and Prasenjit Datta. These rescued passengers praised his efforts during their hospitalization.
