No. 12140) being short-terminated at Devlali Station and returning to Nagpur. Due to the flooding, long-distance trains were short-terminated near Nasik and resumed their journey later. The CSMT-Nagpur Sevagram Express (Train No. 12139) originated from Nasik Road on Sunday, while the CSMT-Gondia Vidarbha Express (Train No. 12105) and CSMT-Nagpur Duronto Express (Train No. 12289) were rescheduled from CSMT at 22.15 hrs and 00.10 hrs respectively on July 8. Additionally, the CSMT-Howrah Express (Train No. 12322) was rescheduled from CSMT at 00.30 hrs on July 8. Heavy rainfall in the Kalamboli-Panvel area caused water logging at Kalamboli station, suspending both Up and Down traffic from 10.30 hrs to 12.05 hrs on Sunday.

They removed unauthorized passengers, resulting in satisfaction among reserved ticket holders. Earlier in the afternoon, another team led by Assistant Commercial Managers Akilesh Kumar Nayak and Gracious Nazrat carried out similar checks on trains like 07420, 12322, 13201, 22177, 01471, and 02186 across the division, resulting in the collection of over INR 5.13 lakh in fines from 666 passengers. This initiative aims to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free journey for reserved ticket holders.

A total of 80 passengers were penalized, resulting in a fine of 65,000 rupees. Express were delayed by a massive 18 hours, scheduled to arrive at 1 AM instead of their expected arrival time of 6:30 AM. Other trains like the Durgiyana Express, the Sealdah Duronto Express, and the Sealdah Express also faced delays of several hours. Consequently, the departure times of several trains from New Delhi have been altered. The Purva Express, which was originally scheduled to leave New Delhi on January 23rd at 5:40 PM, is now scheduled to depart at 9:30 PM.
