several trains on this route have been canceled on Tuesday, and others have had their routes adjusted. The four trains canceled are the Katihar-Siliguri and Jogbani-Siliguri Intercity Expresses, along with the New Jalpaiguri-Howrah Shatabdi Express. Additionally, the route of the New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Superfast Express has been adjusted. The Capital Express continues to operate on the Siliguri-New Jalpaiguri route. The Kanchanjungha Express accident occurred on Monday morning when a container-laden freight train collided with the train from behind near Rangapani station, approximately 30 kilometers from New Jalpaiguri station. The accident, resulting in the death of about a dozen passengers and injuries to many others, is suspected to have been caused by signal failure. The exact cause, however, will be determined after an investigation.

Is accident me, lagabhag ek darjan yaatriyon ki maut ho gayi aur bahut se log zakhmi ho gaye hain. Train 07029 (Agartala-Secunderabad) on May 31, 2024, will start from Guwahati, and trains 12503 (Bengaluru-Agartala), 20502 (Anand Vihar-Agartala), and 12507 (Thiruvananthapuram-Silchar) leaving on May 28, 29, and 28 respectively will be shortened to Guwahati.

Howrah-Yoganagari Rishikesh Doon Express will have an extra sleeper coach from December 18th to 31st, while the 13010 Yoganagari Rishikesh Howrah Doon Express will have the same from December 20th to January 2nd. The 13043 Howrah-Raxaul Express will have the extra coach from December 20th to 29th, while the 13044 Raxaul-Howrah Express will have it from December 21st to 30th. The 13063/13064 Howrah-Balurghat-Howrah Express will have the extra coach from December 20th to 29th. The 13173 Sealdah-Agartala Express will have the extra coach from December 19th to 31st, while the 13174 Agartala-Sealdah Express will have it from December 21st to January 2nd. The 13175 Sealdah-Silchar Express will have the extra coach from December 18th to 30th (for 6 journeys), while the 13176 Silchar-Sealdah Express will have it from December 20th to January 1st (for 6 journeys).
