Once I asked a daily commuter of the Flying Rani that why do daily commuters of trains like the Flying Rani, Lok Shakti, Kutch & other trains do daadaagiri & harass reserved passengers, he replied "see, Mumbai is the economical & financial capital of India, many people have left their native places & home towns & have settled in Mumbai for job opportunities & businesses you know, now in the morning time full Mumbai gets up & catches local train to go their offices & in the evening they return but the problem is that the western line of local trains start from ChurchGate & ends @ Virar so people living in Virar & south will have no issues but what about the people who are living beyond Virar, if this was in once in 6 months or a year or two than we would have been the same as reserved...
more... passengers but this is a "DAILY" thing, reserved passengers travel once in 6 months or 12 months or so that's why they can book reserved tickets but we cannot afford reservation daily & plus there are no trains who have halts @ intermediate stations so much, there are only a few trains like Flying Rani, Valsad Fast Passenger & Lok Shakti which have many halts but again the problem is given the number of unreserved general coaches the daily commuters are in hundreds & thousands so we have to encroach reserved coaches, our aim is not to harass anyone but daily travelling becomes an issue & thus you know the rest, these reserved passengers see from only their PoV, they do not see from our PoV, western railways should look from our PoV than make some arrangements, if you yourself residing beyond Virar & start travelling daily, you will know" - as told by the daily commuter
It seemed like he knew that harassing & daadaagiri is wrong but out of majboori they are doing it & I also say daadaagiri & harassment is wrong but the plight of these daily commuters made somewhat sense
please wait...Translate to HindiEk baar maine Flying Rani ki ek regular yatri se pucha ki train jaise Flying Rani, Lok Shakti, Kutch aur doosri trains ke regular yatriyo ko reserved passengers ko pareshan kyun karte hain, toh usne kaha "Dekh bhai, Mumbai India ka economic aur financial capital hai, bohot log apne gaon aur shahron ko chhodke Mumbai settle ho gaye hain job opportunities aur businesses ke liye, subah Mumbai ke log local train pakad ke apne offices jaate hain aur shaam ko wapas aate hain, lekin problem yeh hai ki western line ki local trains ChurchGate se start hoti hai aur Virar tak jaati hai toh jo log Virar aur south mein rehte hain unhe koi problem nahi hoti lekin jo log Virar se aage rehte hain unka kya? Agar yeh ek baar 6 mahine ya saal mein hota toh hum bhi reserved passengers jaise hote lekin yeh toh "DAILY" hota hai, reserved passengers 6 mahine ya 12 mahine mein ek baar yatra karte hain isliye wo reserved tickets book kar sakte hain magar hum daily reservation afford nahi kar sakte aur waise bhi itni frequent trains nahi hain jo intermediate stations pe halt karte hain, kuch trains jaise Flying Rani, Valsad Fast Passenger aur Lok Shakti hain jo bohot saare halts pe rukti hain lekin fir bhi problem yeh hai ki unreserved general coaches ki sankhya itni zyada hai ki daily commuters mein hazaro log hain, isliye humein reserved coaches mein chadhna padta hai, hamara maksad kisi ko pareshan karna nahi hai lekin daily travel karna issue ban jaata hai aur isliye tum jaante ho baki sab, yeh reserved passengers apni hi nazar se dekhte hain, humari nazar se nahi, western railways ko hamein bhi dekhke kuch arrangements banana chahiye, agar khud Virar se aage rehne lagoge aur daily travel karoge toh pata chalega" - ek regular yatri ke dwara bataya gaya
Lagta tha ki usne jaante the ki pareshan karna aur daadaagiri galat hai lekin majboori mein wo yeh sab kar rahe hain aur main bhi kehta hoon daadaagiri aur pareshani galat hai lekin in daily commuters ki halat ka kuch matlab tha
