Now, there's the 20401/02 Lucknow Varanasi Shuttle Superfast Express, kind of like a new version of the Varuna Express, but it only runs between Lucknow and Varanasi. While it helps people in Lucknow, it leaves Kanpur and Unnao feeling a bit stranded.

So, what's the point? The Varuna Express was more than just a train; it was a crucial connection for many cities and their people. While the 20401/02 exists, it doesn't quite replace the original. Hopefully, someday, the Varuna Express might return, reconnecting cities and making travel easier for everyone!
