The TDC for completing the RUB near DMW Halt is 30-11-2015, according to the recent RTI received from the o/o Chief Engineer, Const, N.Rly, Ambala Cantt. The RUB work was to be initiated last year, but due to some site technical issues, it was delayed. Now the work on the pending RUB to start anytime, meeting the deadline. The already under construction ROB here is catching up; with PWD B&R now constructing approaches on both the sides, and the main span over the tracks is to be constructed by NRCO, (Northern Railway Construction Organisation), the girders for the span are getting ready and welded together. They are huge as I saw them myself and few of them are 20mts long. They need to get anti-rust paint before placing them over the span, as they'll be embedded with the concrete.
