I just predicted the loco link for West Coast, I saw 22637/8 with WAP-4 22905 of ED in my day-dreamland :P, it looked nice so i changed my IRI scrn name to ED WAP-4 22905 with West Coast Express. Next day (Sunday 1 oct 2017) I was returning back to MAQ from ED, I reached the station at 16:48 itself, Kovai just arrived. it was with RPM WAP-7 30333. Just after it left Kongu arrived (I did not expect Kongu). Manual announcements were made about the coach position of 12647 CBE-NZM Kongu Express. I could hear EMD sounds, Kongu came with KJM WDP-4 20030,I quickly took a shot of the loco. As soon as kongu left 12244 Shatabdi arrived with HOG WAP-7 30426. It left the station after a few minutes. 12512 Raptisagar also arrived ED So after Shtabdi with ED WAP-4 22360. I was thinking which loco would be hauling...

22637, whether RPM or ED , or AJJ !!. Then slowly a RED WAP-4 appeared. it was ERODE WAP-4 22905, i was very excited and surprised, (I predicted the loco). This is the last WAP-4 loco of Erode, 25040 also came but went to RPM. I spotted the AJJ 787 too WAP-4 22787. Few secs later 16860 Mangalore Egmore express arrived Erode with an Erode WDP-4D. Road number 40198. a few more seconds later Nagercoil Passenger arrived Erode in the 3rd platform parallel to West coast with ED WDM-3D 11454 (Last WDM-3D of ED, 11518 and others too came to ED DLS but went to KJM DLS.). The coach we were onboard was 95290 which means iit is made in 1995, (s2 coach), the S1 was somewhat better than ours. Then West Coast departed ED and the WAP-4 gave the good old Long and short honks while departing the station. A slow race began between West Coast and a ED WDS-6 36531 with BCNAs. West Coast won the race :D !!! few secs later we bagan to pick speed around 75-80 km/h. we met a speeding freight with AJJ WAG-5s on the lead towards ED. That was a good crossing. Another speedy crossing took place with 17229 Sabari Express with ED WAP-4. Later i moved to A1 coach meet someone else there hence missing many crossings of Expresses and MEMUs.
I came back to my seat when we reached CBE. after CBE we had a good run till Elephant section. We met 22607 Ernakulam Bangalore Superfast with ED WAP-4, 12515 TVC Guwahati Superfast with ED WAP-4 and 12602 with another ED WAP-4 :D
As we moved slowly decelerating towards PGT, We met thw 22640 ALllepey Chennai Express with latest RPM WAP-7 30561. We departed PGT after 5 mins and met the rake of 56610 Nilambur Road Palakkad Passenger with ERS WDM-3A 16878 APU fitted and Blue white livery uncoupled from the rake. After PGT i went to take a nap till MAQ because rest of the journey will be boring unlike 22638. Finally reached MAQ at 3:40 i guess thats the right time after the removal of Diesel link from SRR TO MAQ. Also spotted Mangalore Kozhikode Passenger with ERS WDM-3A 14125. This was a super journey so wanted to share the story

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
