Why there is a major difference even then the railways are ruled by central?
Whether our railway zone is different from Indian Railway Zone?
This question been hitting all the frequent and non-frequent passengers of Indian Railway especially from the Southern Region ( Either Southern, South Central & Southwestern Railway) all over these years.
It is somewhat clear that comparatively, the soil in

southern India is less compatible with speed rail zone as Bhopal Shathabdi and Gatimaan hitting 150 and 160 Km/hr, things may get solved in upcoming years on taking the zone to a different level by introducing proposed diamond quadrilateral and semi high-speed rail zone southern parts of the country. Railway may have hand-full of answers to answer the question and make us dumb, but the actual problem is with the quality and quantity of the service provided to the passengers.
Most of the AC super-fast trains, Premium trains, Special Fare and Suvidha Trains running in other rail zones are catering with LHB coaches while Southern Region ( Either Southern, South Central & Southwestern Railway) are still operating old / dumped coaches to serve the passengers with poor quality and claiming a huge amount which may be inclusive of dynamic, flexible fare or extra fare.
Best Examples are
T. No
22207 / 22208
82640
06005/06
06049/50
82635/36
06051/52
06047/48
06041
82637/38
06046
06541
06453/54
02198
02779
The question is not about why so much higher price, yes dynamic or special fare is made to be higher, but the railways should check and provide a quality service for the money collected from passengers.
For example, train no.22207/08 is listed as Rajdhani category, whether the services provided in the train are same as Rajdhani express? where are the new rakes of the train which was present when the train been introduced?
Whether southern railway took any initiative to cater passengers traveling through these trains?

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
