1. Agreed that Brindavan had a connecting train to Mysore (I think it is called Nandi express not sure). Now that we have a BG line, it is not wrong to explore extension to Mysore.
2. Original Mangala express used to start from MAQ and run via Shoranur, Coimbatore, Renigunta. It never had slip coach from Cochin. Now, it starts from Cochin, skips MAQ, and also no specific seats to Mangalore (at MAJN). If the train had to start from Cochin, call this as Lakshadweep express and go ahead. My suggestion is to allow a proper train for Mangalore passengers. Call this as Mangala express. Am I expecting too much?

more... KSK - name says Karnataka and Sampark. So it has to be providing sampark to Karnataka towns. KSK via KCG fails in this aspect. In comparison, Kerala SK provide sampark to almost all district HQ. AP SK starts from Tirupati and provide sampark to many AP towns. TN SK starts from Madurai and stopswat various towns in TN. Maharashtra SK starts from a different town not from Mumbai. There is no point in saying that Karnataka is the only state having 3 SK trains. See how many towns are getting connected by all 3 SK? Realignment of SK to start from any other town or routing via Karnataka towns is apt.

It would be better to realign SK to start from a different town or route it through Karnataka towns.

2. Original Mangala express MAQ se shuru hoti thi aur Shoranur, Coimbatore, Renigunta ke raaste chalti thi. Kabhi bhi Cochin se slip coach nahi hota tha. Ab woh Cochin se shuru hoti hai, MAQ ko skip karti hai aur Mangalore ke liye koi specific seats nahi hai (MAJN par). Agar train Cochin se start honi thi, toh isko Lakshadweep express keh do aur aage badho. Mere suggestion hai ki Mangalore ke passengers ke liye ek proper train allow karo. Isko Mangala express kaho. Kya main bahut jyada expect kar raha hoon?
3. KSK ka naam hai Karnataka and Sampark. Isliye iska toh sampark Karnataka ke towns se hona hi chahiye. KSK via KCG isme kami hai. Tulna mein, Kerala SK almost sabhi district HQ se sampark provide karti hai. AP SK Tirupati se shuru hoti hai aur bahut se AP ke towns se sampark karti hai. TN SK Madurai se shuru hoti hai aur Tamil Nadu ke various towns par rukti hai. Maharashtra SK Mumbai se alag town se shuru hoti hai. Keval Karnataka hi hai jisme 3 SK trains hai, is baat ko kehna koi matlab nahi hai. Dekho kitne towns ko in teeno SK trains se connect kiya ja raha hai? SK ko kisi aur town se shuru karne ya fir Karnataka towns ke raaste se route karne ka sense hai.
