Amongst all the classes, there was no doubt that 3AC was giving them good revenues as compared to sl & gen. No wonder seeing so many 3Ac being added in multiple trains and reduction in gen & sl coaches.
Many trains earlier used to have on an average 4-5 gen coaches....Now all of them have 2 (post LHB conversion). Biggest problem has been for general passengers. Looks like railways seem to have completely forgotten this set of people
